Keltrol F/0.20
Heat the oil phase to 80 C. Heat the aqueous phase to 85 C. Add the
aqueous phase to the oils under good mechanical agitation. Premix the
calcium hydroxide solution. Allow emulsion to cool to 45 C, then add the
premixture.
Note: Hair straightening preparations of this type may be covered by
U.S. Patent 4,304,244.

Dissolve the Keltrol F and water with stirring and heat to 70-75 C.
Cool to 45 C and add the guanidine carbonate.
The relaxer is activated by adding 1 part of the activator with 4 parts of the cream. |
