Hot Process: Blend Viscarin TP 328 with saccharin, benzoate, and fluoride. Add to glycerin or glycerin/sorbitol mixture while at room temperature and with good agitation. Add water and heat to 150-160 F (65-70 C). Add sodium lauryl sulfate. Slow agitation to prevent foaming.
Stop heating. Add abrasive while constantly mixing. Mix for 10-15 min and cool before adding volatile flavor oils. Mill and deaerate. Fill tubes at 85-105 F (35-40 C). |
