Glycerin/12.0 cc
Cresol/1.5 cc
Gelatin (Granular)/82.0 g
Potassium Dichromate/0.03 g
Distilled Water/138.0 cc
Amaranth Solution (5%)/10.0 cc
Sodium Benzoate/1.3 g |
| 配制方法： |
Mix the Water and the Glycerin; add the Gelatin.
Place in a covered enameled container and heat on a water bath until the gelatin is dissolved. Dissolve the Sodium Benzoate and Potassium Dichromate in a few ccs of water and add to the above mixture. Add the Cresol and the Amaranth and mix thoroughly. Strain through cloth and pour into a shallow pan to harden. Store in tightly closed containers.
To Use: heat the mixture on a water bath until soft, if too viscous add a little water. Dip rubber stoppered vials in the melted mixture almost to the shoulder of the vial and remove at once. Remove excess from the top of the stopper to allow for entry of a needle. Allow to harden.
Gelatin seals may also be placed around pre-packaged bottles to avoid contamination. |
