The oil phase is blended and heated to 80 C. The water phase is prepared by dispersing the Nipagin M and CMC in the propylene glycol and triethanolamine. When thoroughly mixed, the water is added with stirring until the gum is fully hydrated. The veegum and pigments are added with stirring to wet down the powders. the mixture is then sheared (Silverson mixer) to ensure dispersion of the pigment. Heat to 85 C. The water phase is then added to the oils with agitation. Perfume is included at 50 C and the product stirred down to 35 C before filling. |
