The R-12 "Neville" resin is added directly to the ball mill when putting this compound into solution. The above formulation (with the exception of the accelerator) is dissolved in toluene at 40% solids by ball milling for approximately 5 hours. After complete solution is effected, the accelerator is added.
The best application procedure is to apply the adhesive directly to the road surface and allow it to air-dry for about 15 minutes. The vinyl strip is then pressed firmly onto the partially dried adhesive.
APPLICATIONS: Sponge adhesive. Vinyl traffic marking strip adhesive. |
