The oil phase is composed of the stearyl alcohol and the white petrolatum. The water phase contains the "Avicel" R 15% gel, propylene glycol, emulsifying agent, and the parabens. Each phase is heated to 70C on a water bath, and the water phase is added to the oil phase in a warmed mortar and pestle and triturated until congealed. |
