To prepare this formula, dissolve the sodium chloride in the water.
Then add the hexylene glycol, sarcosinate, amides, and the lauryl sulfate. Heat to approximately 140F to effect solution. Then add the sequestering agent, perfume, preservative, and color. If de-ionized water is not used, it may be necessary to add sodium xylene sulfonate to prevent layering.
This shampoo will form a syrupy solution in very low concentration. It foams well, and leaves the hair shiny and manageable. |
