"Cerasynt" 1000D/2.00
Add water to mixing tank. Add "Gafquat" polymer and mix until
uniform. Add "Arquad" Softener and glyceryl monostearate and heat
mixture to 60C with agitation. When batch is uniform, commence cooling.
At 40C add glutaraldehyde and perfume. Sample batch and calculate amount
of citric acid needed to bring pH to 5.0-5.5.

Weigh and add 1 into a container and begin stirring, with a relatively high shear imparting propeller type stirrer. Add 2, which is the "Oat-Pro" and stir until complete dispersion of the material takes place. Begin heating the water-"Oat-Pro" blend, while stirring continuously. Heat this blend to 70-73C. In another container weigh and add 3 and 4 and begin stirring and heating. Heat this blend to 70-73C.
When both blends are at 70-73C add the "Ammonyx"-4-cetyl alcohol blend to the deionized water-"Oat-Pro." When all of the "Ammonyx"-4-Cetyl alcohol blend has been added, begin cooling the batch. Add 8 at 65C.
Continue cooling, and reduce the temperature to 40-43C, at which time add the remaining ingredients. Stir until uniform and package. |
