The new automatic washers perform better if there is not too much
suds present. Excessive suds cushion the clothes as they are dropped
back on top of the water and thus interfere with the mechanical action
of the machine and also make rinsing more difficult

This can be formulated in a dry mixer by adding all of the ingredients except the "Ethofat," starting the mixer, and then adding the "Ethofat" slowly. Some prefer to spray in the "Ethofat" while the mixer is in operation. Usually 0.25% of the product, on the basis of the water weight, is sufficient for home washing. Some formulators prefer to add about 20% of water to this formulation. |
