The powder is filled into the container until it is essentially full. The propellant is then introduced, and is absorbed on to the powder particles under the normal pressures employed in filling. When the valve is depressed, the powder rises up the dip tube, and when it hits the air, the propellant on the powder expands at the lower pressure and propels the particles in the direction of discharge. |
