Ethoxylated fatty alcohol/2 Water @ 212F./14 Water @ tap temperature/72 Melt waxes with emulsifier at 100-110C; Under agitation, add slowly 1/3 of the total water, boiling, in order to make a 36-40% concentrate Bring the batch to a boil again, and then pour it into the remaining portion cold (15C.) water, with agitation; Ammonia can be added at any stage to raise the pH, to promote the stability of certain metal salts in the dispersion or to improve particle size (with a loss in leveling). |
