Replace cover, lower the agitator motor into position for correct alignment with agitator clutch, connect thermostat (if thermostat is not used, short the thermostat connecting wire). Place pressure-holding cylinder on the main tank (via two quickdisconnect valves). Shut off both valves on the main tank cover. Unscrew top of morpholine holding cylinder. Charge holding cylinder with morpholine 95 and replace top for tight seal.
Check tight seal of main kettle cover. All three locking studs must be tight. Start hot-plate. Control light is on while heat is on. Insert thermometer or heat recorder probe into main kettle well. Assure good contact by filling bottom of well with stable heat-transfer liquid (silicone oil is suitable).
Raise main kettle temperature to 300F. Start agitator (caution: never reverse the agitator direction without first shutting off the motor).
