Beta-carotene is an extremely potent coloring agent. Only a few
milligrams per quart are needed to produce a distinct and effective
color. The following suggested levels in representative food or beverage
products are based on the use of the experimental stock dispersion
described later:

Soda, orange/Apo-Carotenal stock solution per 10 qts.
Orange drinks/2 1/2 oz.+1/2 oz. 10% Apo-carotenal stock solution per 10
qts.
