the solution is added to the slurry forming an insoluble complexed dye including rhodamine tungstate, which attaches itself to the surfaces of the oxide particles, coating them as described above.
A further advantage obtained through these laking processes in the treatment of magnetic pigments for use in lithographic inks is that magnetic pigments of highly desirable magnetic properties may be employed even though these pigments are of undesirable coloration. |
