"Alox" 488 added to gasoline for use in internal-combustion engines
will clean old engines and prevent deposits in new engines. The film of
"Alox" strongly absorbed on the metal surfaces improves the lubrication
of the upper-cylinder region and reduces wear of the rings and upper
cylinder areas. "Alox" acts as a "sealer" which improves compression and
tends to retard blow-by. It facilitates starting at sub-zero

For use in clean engines, 4 to 6 oz. of the oil solution of "Alox" are added to each 10 gal. of fuel or gasoline.
For use in dirty engines, 4 to 6 oz. of the oil solution of "Alox" 488 are added to each 5 gal. of fuel until the engine is clean. Afterward 4 to 6 oz. to 10 gal. can be used. |
