Untreated test blocks of porous mortar (2 parts sand, 1 part cement) which absorbed 9% water on immersion for 24 hours, show less than 1% absorption of water after treatment with this mixture. Two coats of the "Oronite" Polybutene waterproofing compound were brushed into the blocks with a 24-hour interval between applications. |
