Heat the oils of part A to 95 C in a steam-jacketed kettle. Add the waxes of Part b and maintain the temperature at 95 C. Heat the waxes and oils to 110 C while mixing and hold for 15-20 min or until all the waxes are in solution. Cool the batch to 95 C and transfer approximately 15 parts to a small pot and maintain heat at 90-95 C. Add the color blend to the base in the small pot slowly, stirring vigorously. Continue mixing until all the color is completely dispersed. Add the perfume from Part C to the color in the small pot. Mix until completely dispersed.
Transfer this color dispersion to the balance of the base which is at 95 C in the steam-jacketed kettle. The base should be stirred while the color is being added. Mix until completely dispersed. |
