A silicate-containing cleaning compound for removing excess paint
from paint-spray booths contains the following ingredients
Sodium carbonate/20%
Bentonite/12
Caustic Soda/30
Kerosene/9
Sodium orthosilicate/23%
Salt/6 |
| 配制方法： |
The cleaning compound may be incorporated into a fine curtain of water discharged at an angle behind the object being painted in the booth. The excess paint is caught in the water and pulled down into a trough. Metal parts of the booth are also protected from rust due to the corrosion inhibition provided by the silica. |
