This formulation has been prepared in 2 kg batches in a 1.3 gal ball mill half filled with 1.25 in . "Burundum" cylinders.
Add all ingredients, except "Kelzan," to the mill in the order listed.
The wetting agent is preferably first dispersed in the glycol. Mix until the atrazine needles are in the 1-5 \um range with at least 90% <= 5 \um. When using the ball mill, approximately 5 h of grinding time is required to achieve the desired particle size. Add the "Kelzan" and mill for 30 min or until completely dissolved. |
