Carefully disperse the "Carbopol" 934 resin in the water and mix to
a thin, cloudy dispersion without lumps. Add the sodium hydroxide and
then the amine with mild agitation. The dispersion will gel immediately.
Add the "Dow Corning" 200 fluid in a slow, steady stream with good
mixing. A white, stable emulsion forms immediately.
Note: The emulsion contains 50% silicone oil and 0.5% |
