Pearl Cornstarch/1500 lb.
"Becco" 35% Hydrogen Peroxide/12 lb.

| 配制方法： |
Dissolve the peroxide in the water before adding. Full steam brings the batch to the gel point of 170F. in about 12 minutes. The steam is then reduced to avoid splatering of the now thickened mix, but the stirrer is kept running. The mix thins after about 12 minutes. Then the steam is turned on again to bring the temperature to 200F. within 5 minutes where it is maintained for another 25 to 30 minutes.
The resulting paste has a Saybolt fluidity of 75 seconds, a specific gravity of 3.2 Be. and a pH of 7.4. It is used successfully for machine sizing of bond paper. |
