Combine the oleic acid, L45 (1000 cSt), carnauba wax #3, and one-half of the Isopar K in a container. Heat with agitation to 90 C until wax melts and a clear solution results. Add morpholine with vigorous agitation to neutralize wax. Add Ucar Silicone AFL 40 to remainder of mineral spirits and combine with above ingredients at 90 C.
Slurry the Kaopolite 1152 into the water. Add the hot solvent solution, remove heat and mix until paste polish reaches 55 C. Pour into containers. |
