High-Gloss Furniture Cream Polish |

The formula described in the following yields a stable furniture
cream in liquid form for packaging in plastic squeeze bottles or glass
bottles. The latter may be equipped with a plunger-type dispenser. This
polish has demonstrated outstanding gloss and gloss retention, with a
minimum of wicking. It may be applied to wood, plastic, "Formica" or
metal surfaces with equally satisfactory results. The rub out is
effortless

Dissolve the "Duroxon", "Arlacel" C and silicone fluid in the mineral spirits at 190 to 200F. Disperse the "Carbopol" in the water in a separate container at 190 to 200F with high-shear agitation. Pour 1 into 2 with agitation. Add 3 and continue high-speed agitation to maximum 100F or room temperature. |
