Add all ingredients except water and mix until uniform. Add water slowly and mix at high speed until a suitable emulsion is produced.
Package.
The above formula produces a water-in-oil, creamy, thixotropic emulsion.
On standing, the emulsion becomes thinner. If isopropyl alcohol or polar solvents are added to the above formula, the emulsion consistency is reduced to a thin liquid. An excess of polar solvent may cause the abrasive to settle. |
