It is recommended that the ingredients be added in the order listed
above. It is important that the alkali soluble resin be added to the
"Rhoplex" B-252 before incorporating the polyethylene emulsion. The
"Triton" N-101, tributoxyethyl phosphate, dibutyl phthalate, "Carbitol",
and "FC" 128 can be premixed, diluted with an equal amount of water and
added slowly with good agitation. The formulation should be agitated for
at least one-half hour after |

It is recommended that the components be added in the order in which they are listed above. dilute a mixture of the "Carbitol", "Ucar" 2LM, Tributoxyethyl Phosphate, 2-Pyrrolidone, "FC-128" and Formalin with at least an equal amount of watr and add this slowly to the other ingredients with good stirring. the water for dilution used in this premix should be calculated as part of the water for dilution of the other components. The use of hot tap water (130F) in diluting the polymer will increase rate of clarification. |
