Durability to drycleaning and washing is obtained when silver-knit
fabrics are backcoated with
"Nopco" DF 160L (diluted 1:1 with water)/0.2
Ammonium hydroxide (28% NH3)/2.1
"Rhoplex" TR 520/48.2
"Acrysol" ASE-60/4.4
Water/39.5
Water premix/4.4
Ammonium chloride (25% solution)/1.2 |
| 配制方法： |
The formulation should be made in the indicated order. Before addition of the diluted "Acrysol" ASE-60, the pH should be measured and adjusted, if below 7.4. A pH in the range 7.4-8.0 is satisfactory.
Following addition of "Acrysol" ASE-60, the pH may again require adjustment by addition of ammonia to pH 7.4-8.0. The formulation given above has an initial viscosity of about 28,000 cps. and can be applied by knife coater.
Where dimensional stability alone is required, "Rhoplex" TR-520 can be pigmented with whiting or clay, dispersed with "Tamol" SN, and the formulation can be thickened with "Acrysol" ASE-60. Good fabric stability and a non-tacky hand are obtained with filled formulations of this type, applied by kiss roll or knife coater. |
