FORMULA No.1 (Woolen System) for acrylics, apply 1% "STANTEX" ANTISTAT 627 from a 3:1 or 4:1 emulsion before carding.
FORMULA No.2 (Worsted System; Dacron/Wool Blend) The dyed "Dacron" tops are best handled by the application of "STANTEX" ANTISTAT 627 at a level of 0.50-0.75% in the last bowl of the backwasher to obtain uniform application. The "Dacron" and wool tops ae blended in gilling.
FORMULA No.3 (Cotton System; Dacron/Cotton Blend) "Dacron" and cotton staple are processed separately and blended at the draw frame. "STANTEX" ANTISTAT 627 can be applied to the Dacron staple at a level of 0.25% or less based on the weight of the fiber from a 3:1 or 4:1 emulsion. The emulsion is usually sprayed onto the stock during opening or picking or as early in the process as is most feasible. |
